Israel at War
These are unprecedented times in Israel.
It is hard to watch the news and see the images. They compel us to action. But what can be done? Below are ideas on ways to pray and take action. Thank you for standing with Israel and the Jewish people.
You can also contribute to meet the needs in Israel at our Israel Relief Fund.
Pray
For the peace of Jerusalem (Psalm 122:6).
For safety for Israeli soldiers and civilians.
For a quick end to this conflict.
For the political leaders, police and emergency services.
For Israelis and Palestinians to come to know the life-changing gospel.
For the believing soldiers and their families, that they will find courage and shine as lights.
For the believers and congregations to be bold in sharing God’s love.
For comfort for the families grieving over lost ones.
For the hostages taken to Gaza including babies, children, women, and elderly.
For the civilians of Gaza, who are suffering greatly due to their leadership.
For open hearts to the gospel as many Israelis are asking existential questions.
Take Action
Consider gathering in person (or by Zoom) with others to intercede for Israel.
Invite a Life in Messiah speaker to share on how believers can best respond to this war.
Make a donation to our Israel Relief Fund. We know this war will have a long-lasting effect on people in Israel – both our workers and those they are ministering to.
