Poetic Prophecy

The Son of God[1]

The Son of Man[2]

Scripture reveals the holy plan[3]

He came first to serve, not to rule[4]

Despised and rejected[5]

His death so cruel[6]

From a virgin birth[7] in a foretold place[8]

God set the stage for His coming grace[9]

A root from dry ground would mask the plea[10]

Who would listen?[11]

Who would see?

To some the Arm of God revealed[12]

To others still His name concealed[13]

A prophet like Moses[14] whom God would raise

One acquainted with sorrow[15] yet worthy of praise “

God with us”[16] He would be called

Multitudes and angels would be enthralled[17]

The prophets of old forecast His role[18]

This Righteous One would give His soul[19]

And it pleased the LORD, He atoned in whole

He would do what Jacob sought[20]

To keep God’s law, without a spot[21]

The curse that came and followed sin[22]

The heart of stone that lay within

now exchanged with one of flesh[23]

Wineskins of old now made fresh[24]

All made possible as was said

This Lamb of God [25] would not stay dead[26]

The Begotten Son mankind did kill[27]

Yet He will reign from Zion’s hill[28]

So, seek the Lord, He’ll take your shame[29]

As you place your trust in His name.[30]

His very name tells what He brings

Listen as the prophet sings:

       “Behold, God is my salvation

I will trust and will not be afraid

For the LORD my God, is my

       strength and my song,

He also has become my salvation.” [31]

(1) What about you? Did you know that Jesus’ name is Yeshua?[32] And in Hebrew yeshua is salvation, or the LORD saves?

(2) Have you ever truly searched the many Scriptures throughout the Tanakh that clearly and plainly speak of Israel’s Messiah? Such as His miraculous birth and birthplace, or the signs He would do, or about His rejection, even the very manner of His death and resurrection, and many other fulfilled prophecies?

(3) We would love to speak with you further about the One who is “enthroned on the praises of Israel.”[33]

(4) And if you already know the Savior, what is stopping you from sharing about Him today?
